One of the biggest hurdles that people face when seeking help is dealing with the obstacle of stigma. Mental health stigma is real and very prevalent in many communities. Our goal is to help people overcome this stigma and get the help they need.

No one should have to hide or be embarrassed by their illness because of what the community around them will say. Getting help is not an easy thing to do, but taking the first step gives you a chance at happiness. I work with many different populations, but specialize in helping people from the Muslim community. I exclusively work with women, teenage girls, and children. Counseling sessions with me are safe and confidential. You don’t have to be concerned with someone finding out you’re in counseling.

In my office, you will have a safe place to think out loud, build self confidence, and gain coping skills. I speak and understand the Arabic language.
