Alsalamu Alykum and Welcome to Sunnah Counseling LLC

The goal of Sunnah Counseling, LLC is to provide the Ummah with accessible mental health resources, education, and support. Our mission is to raise awareness about mental health within Muslim communities and help reduce the stigma surrounding counseling and emotional well-being.

At Sunnah Counseling, we believe that mental illness does not discriminate, it affects people across all backgrounds, cultures, and faiths. Our aim is to help neutralize the growing mental health crisis by promoting understanding, compassion, and faith-based healing.

This website serves as an educational resource to share information, insights, and guidance about mental health and wellness. It is not a substitute for professional counseling. If you would like assistance connecting with a counselor or scheduling a consultation, please reach out, we’re here to help. Feel free to take a look at our resources page as well.

Guest writer

I am currently working on my masters in Marriage & Family Therapy. My goal is to learn and gain more experience in this field, build clientele, and hopefully bridge the gap between Muslims and the idea of what it means to go to therapy. I love reading, writing, and listening to poetry. I am a quick learner, and adapt very well to different situations.
