Forgetfulness and Making Mistakes

رَبَّنا لا تُؤاخِذنا إِن نَسينا أَو أَخطَأنا

Rabbana la tu akhithnaa innaseenaa aw akhtaana

'Our Lord! Take us not to task if we forget or fall into error'' Surat 2-verse 286

We are merely human beings and need to remember that we are not perfect. We are bound to make mistakes or do things that do not align with Islam due to forgetfulness. However, Allah is always there to hear our dua for forgiveness. *SSaleh
